Skailon is a commercial platform that talks to a business's leads across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, email and phone. The Skailon app for Zoom lets that business see how its live webinars and meetings went, without typing anything: when each session started and ended, the attendance curve minute by minute, the peak, how many people stayed until the end, how many people registered, and which attendees are already leads of the business.
Prerequisites
- A Skailon account with the administrator role.
- A Zoom account (any plan). Registration data requires registration to be enabled on the meeting or webinar.
- Importing sessions that have already ended requires a Zoom Pro plan or higher (and the Webinars add-on for webinars), because Zoom only provides past participants on those plans.
Adding the app
You can add the app from Skailon or from the Zoom App Marketplace:
- From Skailon: sign in at app.skailon.com, go to Channels › Integrations, find Zoom and click Connect. Sign in to Zoom and click Allow. You return to Skailon and the card shows Connected as your Zoom email.
- From the Zoom App Marketplace: open the Skailon listing and click Add. After you allow access, Zoom sends you to Skailon (sign in if asked). On Channels › Integrations, confirm with Connect to link that Zoom account to your business. The connection is never made without this confirmation.
A Zoom account can be connected to only one Skailon business at a time.
Using the app
- In Skailon, go to How the mind works › Webinars, add your webinar (or open an existing one) and paste the Zoom meeting or webinar ID (the 9–11 digit number) in the Zoom ID field.
- Run your session in Zoom as usual.
- When the session ends (Zoom sends the end notice a few minutes after the last participant leaves), the webinar in Skailon shows the latest session: duration, attendance curve, peak and at which minute it happened, number of people, how many stayed until the end and how many were already leads. Registrations appear as they happen.
- Sessions that ended in the last 14 days before you connected are imported automatically. On the Zoom card, Fetch now imports any ended session that is not in Skailon yet; a session is never counted twice.
The host is not counted as an attendee. Nothing is posted to Zoom, nobody is added to your meetings and no bot joins your sessions.
Removing the app
- From Skailon: Channels › Integrations › Zoom › Disconnect.
- From Zoom: sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace, go to Manage › Added Apps, find Skailon and click Remove.
When the app is removed from Zoom, we immediately delete the stored access tokens and the email of the connected Zoom account. The attendance statistics already computed for your webinars remain in your Skailon account; they contain no Zoom user data (attendees are stored only as one-way hashes, and the host is never included). To delete your whole Skailon account and its data, see Data deletion.
Data we access
Notifications about your meetings and webinars (start, end, participant joined/left, registration created/cancelled), your Zoom account ID and email and, read-only, the participants of your sessions that have already ended (join and leave times and email) and the host's email, so the host is not counted. Participant names and emails are not stored. We never access recordings, chats, transcripts or meeting content. Details: Privacy Policy, section 5.
